Mauritius Golf App

You can find the Mauritius Golf Application either on the Google Play store or the iOS App store :

• Search in your app store for “Mauritius Golf”;
  
• Enter the app with your “login” and your “PIN number” (the same as the ones to enter the web-site);
  

In case you do not remember either your Login or your PIN number, contact us by mail (admin@mgf.mu).

Thanks to the app, you will now be able to:

• View your Handicap Index and your Handicap Record;
  
• Determine your “Course Handicap” on all courses and tee-off of the island; and,
  
• View the handicap indices of the other MGF licensees.
  

You will also be able to enter your own scores when not playing in a registered competition (“General Play Scores”).  The eligible formats allowing General Play Scores entry are Individual Strokeplay and Four-Ball Strokeplay (Medal or Stableford scoring) either on 9 or 18 holes.

Kindly note that the recording of a “General Play Scores” will require you to:

• Declare your intention to record a “General Play Scores” with your playing partners before commencing the round;
  
• Fill out a score card from the club in neat and legible handwriting and ensure that the “marker” is also a licensed member of MGF;
  
• Enter the full names of the player and marker, the date, the format of play and the colour of the tees being played by each individual;
  
• The card must be signed by both the player and the marker;
  
• On the app, select the "Scoring" menu and follow the instructions up to the "Finalize card" step.
  
• It is necessary to enter the score on the application on the same day
  

IMPORTANT: Once finalized, your “social score” will be taken into account for the calculation of your index (overnight calculation).  << DO NOT attempt to test the system by entering test scores ! >>

Finally, please note that the MGF reserves the right to assess and sanction any players who do not respect the rules relating to General Play Scores.
